Yakuza Sunset is the 55th substory in Yakuza Kiwami 2.
Plot[]
Near S. Shofukucho Street, two local teens are discussing rumors about a movie that is being shot in town. The movie is Yakuza Sunset 4 and there are rumors that it is being shot on Bishamon Bridge. Kiryu decides to head over there to see what is going on. Kiryu bumps into a sullen man in a cap who drops the script to Yakuza Sunset 4 and decides that he needs to track down this man. Head to Shot Bar STIJL to track him down. While talking to him at STIJL, he reveals that he was the director of the third movie, the one that people hated. He says that after directing the third movie and it being met with criticism, he is beginning to doubt his artistic visions. Kiryu decides that sometime soon he should watch Yakuza Sunset 3. Kiryu decides that if he heads back to STIJL, he can probably still catch Sugano and hopefully help him with his movie. At STJIL, Sugano is nowhere to be found but an elderly movie buff wants to talk shop with you. Sugano overhears the entire conversation that Kiryu has with Fukatsu. Sugano says that he needs to make Yakuza Sunet 4 to fix the flaws from his previous entry and Kiryu agrees to help him in doing so. At the movie production office, Sugano begins to run Kiryu through props trying to gain his feedback on what a yakuza would do. However, a rude-looking thug then interrupts. This group of thugs recognizes Sugano and gives him a difficult time for the flop of Yakuza Sunset 3. They threaten to put him permanently out of movie business. Kiryu then shows Sugano what a true fight should look like by taking on these thugs. Sugano gives you a Bloody Binding as a reward. As you leave, Fukatsu is outside and lets you know that Yakuza Sunset 4 will be alright with the Dragon of Dojima in a supervising role.
